Best Cookies: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies



These "cookies" are a delicious chocolate twist on traditional oatmeal cookie.

Chocolate oatmeal cookies

 1 ½ cups sugar
 1 cup butter,
 softened2 eggs 
2 ½ (1 ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate melted
 2 teaspoons vanilla
 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
 2 teaspoons baking powder
 ½ teaspoon salt 
3 cups quick cooking oats, uncooked:1 cup semisweet chocolate 

Addresses 
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
 Combine sugar and butter in large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add the eggs, chocolate and vanilla; continue beating, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Reduce low speed; Add flour, baking powder and salt. Beat until well blended. Stir in oats and chocolate chips by hand.

Place dough by rounded tablespoons, 2 inches apart on cookie without greasing. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until set. Sobrehorneado not.
